Moment Russia carpet bombed Kharkiv apparently. At least these are the images the MSM are showing now.

Dozens dead, hundreds wounded.


Am I the only one surprised there hasn't been a lot more videos of bombings and fighting etc ?
 
Some soldiers are motivated because they serve for the adrenaline, blood etc...

Some soldiers serve because they love their country and will "defend" (read: fight for) her.

Some see it as a job ...

Overall, when you're at war - even those you have a moral issue with or that are taking too much time - you are also trying to survive, and you want your brothers to survive too. That is powerful motivation.
Nowhere near as powerful as those fighting for their homes and families.

I think for me the worst thing about a nuclear explosion will be having to live in the basement of our building with our neighbours. I might just stand on the roof and let it take me quickly.
In the event of a nuclear war this is absolutely the wisest course of action.
