WWIII Return of the Ruskie

No official announcement from Turkey and Russia denies it.
Ukraine President announced it

Russia denies they've had no fatalities during this conflict. I think I know who to believe

Could be risky all round if it's true. Turkey's a NATO member. It wouldn't be the first time a NATO member had got into a firefight with Russian forces as US and Russian forces have shot at each other in Syria before now (the Russians got pulverised) but this would be different because the Russians in Syria are "unofficially" helping the govt.there (in the same way as there have been "unofficial" Russian forces in Ukraine since 2014) whereas this would seem to be fully official.

There are alternatives to SWIFT but yes, would be a massive move. They have built cash reserves of 600bn though. Keep an eye on BTC and Ripple.

The war is costing them $15bn a day apparently. And the cheap cunts are running out of diesel in their tanks. They thought this would be over in a day. Let's see what happens when they lose a quart of their reserves after 10 days

CNN reporting that Termobaric Missles could he used soon and are on the move.

T-72 and T-80 tanks rolled past the journalist live on air headed for an on slaught for Kharkiv tonight

Wonder how they plan to keep Ukraine if they capture it? If you are Russian, whether you are for or against, must be awful to have your future regardless…

I think hes talking more like ( NOT COMPARISON ) what we saw in syria ... people who want to fight and believe in a cause are welcomed.
That's how I read it too. I may have gone a bit OTT with my world war comparison. More like anyone in the world can join their cause.

Interesting thread, especially if its true. It would be miracle if Ukraine held on ten days considering how much hardware Ukraine is sending in.

This would be quite hilarious if even remotely true, the mighty Russian army cant feed its army for more than a single day.

Which is why the world is worried Putin may try and end this catastrophically today or tomorrow with Thermobarics.

If images come out of Russia firestorming Ukraine cities and killing tens of thousands of civilians, surely that would cause the world to act, and maybe be too much for the Russian people to bare. I am a wishful thinker though.

Yes I’m doing a lot of wishful thinking right now too…

So awful for them

Yes, they would no longer be able to stand by and condemn Russia from a safe distance if that happened. They would have to strongly condemn them instead. Maybe even very strongly condemn them.

People dont understand how hard it is to be efficient in feeding/taking care of soldiers on the front line if an attack like this if you've not fought a proper war in a war (I.e. inexperienced adjutancy (think that's the word), or one that you're miscalculated realities (like it seems russia has).
