He's not insane - very calculated leader. I think if he sees this turning - especially with internal pressure, he'll stop it (and probably try again eventually).
Reading quite a bit about how the Ukrainians are concentrating more on logistics targets than offensive ones, as if you can't fuel your tanks you're fucked.
