12 Apr 2022 — Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp said on Tuesday that his team wanted to become a rival that everyone feared, (looks like it worked here 😀 with Arteta )

Edit ; and we beat them 4-0 after that training sesh I believe

Stupid fucking cunt. We only belt that out before the game or from 88 minutes.

Maybe it belongs in this thread:

Just like the Arteta stuff, this feels like something an insecure manager would do – outsourcing his lineup selections to "points."

Don’t know but maybe it makes sense for managers that might not have full control of the coming and going of players. Someone in Klopp’s position at LFC would fuck any player off out the club if they slacked in training. Maybe not so much for Nagelsmann.

Does he have fields of a field road on at 8 minutes? Salah songs on 2/12/43/etc.

It’s a stupid idea that seems sensible till you give it 15 seconds thought. You can’t recreate a match atmosphere in training.

No, but you might start convincing your best players Liverpool's songs are boss, and maybe they should have a word with their agents.

Club photographer's team talk spurred team to derby victory. 😛 But hey, perhaps we have things like this too at our club?

I do want to confess that I am going to helping Arteta prepare for their away game against City. They wanted a middle aged man with zero follicles, grey and whitish beard, wearing Steve Jobs shirt, to wave around and gesticulate like an idiot in the sidelines while there is absolute silence in the background.

The drawing is a little cringe-ey, but I thought he did make a useful point for his players. They had too many red cards and he was trying to find a way to get through to them how to play with passion without losing your bearings. The one negative is that senior players like Aubameyang didn't really need that lecture and others like Xhaka are incorrigible – so maybe a more experienced manager would give this talk only to players who can actually benefit from it rather than make it the big team talk.
