When I lived in Japan the Croatia team for the 2002 WC was based in the town next to me. All the locals took it upon themselves to support them as their second team. It was ace (and slightly strange) seeing all these Japanese dudes wandering around in Croatia tops. All the Croatians that came over couldn't believe it but fucking loved it. I also really like Croatia for that reason alone. 🙂
