World Cup of the Damned

He cost the Mancs 90 million pounds and has been as effective as Sebastian Coates for them. The man is a legend.

I think we all admire what Slabhead has done to keep United out of the top positions and the genuine entertainment he has given us throughout his entire Utd career… but he’s still a twat.

He was/ Jaysis had no idea

Actually I read it wrong - he got into a fight with some other people he accused of drugging his sister.

All I remember was he got into a fight, got lifted, started fighting with the cops & tried to make a break for it.

He’s still a twat though.

The French team is a lot more likeable without Pogba.

Also can't find it in myself to hate any of the English players besides Pickford and maybe Sterling.

That said, I'm all in for Team Croatia v Morocco.
I agree with the sentiment but that is not worthy of being a World Cup final. I hope it's Argentina vs France with Messi finally getting his WC winners medal.

I'm not a fan of Croatia's play but this is would be the second WC final in a row they got themselves into. A rematch of the 2018 final would be nice.

I really like Hendo and Sakho and obviously Bellingham is about to come a reds legend, so I must say I ended up being a bit conflicted by the end of the match (which I watched in a pub in England surrounded by England supporters). I do think that England are shaping up to be an excellent international side.

I like those 3 - don’t dislike Rashford or Mount.

Jack Grealish is another fanny of the highest order though - so there’s too many players in who’s salty tears of failure I love to bathe.

Basically - I couldn’t give two hairy fucks about most of the players in other teams.

I’m hoping to see the same salty tears of unfulfilled World Cup greatness from Messi as we’ve seen from Rapey-Ronaldo.

Disagree on your final point. Messi winning the world cup will make Ronaldo's misery all the greater, so I am in favour of it

Julio Alvarez and Enzo Fernandez are reminders (if any was required) that there are (reasonably priced) talents to be found in the Argentinian league.

Unbelievable that this kid Alvarez is a bench player for City.

He alone might be better than Nunez. Let alone Haaland.

Sad.

Indeed. If’n we had £100 million to spend, I’d scour that market first instead of waiting for someone else to get them first. I can’t still believe fee now being quoted for Caicedo.
