If this was on the goal line is it a goal or not...?

I believe goal line technology would have given it as a goal
No it wouldn't have. Remember Firmino v City?

I believe the VAR can equally measure whether the whole ball has gone over the byline as the goal line technology does deciding whether the whole ball has gone over the goal line.

Sorry mate, not being argumentative but I still believe that if it was between the post the the Ref gets that beep from his watch saying the ball has cross the line...
Can not imagine any passage of play where if that ball where that close to the back of the net that it would be ruled out

Flicking drama..
Offside, no pen.. wait.. penalty.
Oooh history Uruguay Ghana..
Pen missed.

Thanks to Japan and Korea for doing us Asians proud. Hope more clubs will follow the Bundesliga clubs and Celtic in tapping on these countries' talents.

Do you think the current teams are better than 2002?
I think they are more mature and much stronger as a team.

I didn't see the entire match, anyone know why those players were giving the ref the bollocking?

Is this a record for non-European and South American teams in the knock out stages? 6 already with potentially one more later?

What a brilliant World Cup - pity it's being held in Qatar - amazing shocks all over the shop. The favourites are going to have to be at their best in the next round.

The non-penalty on Cavani. Drogba in the studio thought it was a penalty and at the very least is asking why it was not referred by VAR to the referee to make the final call - which at least would have placated some.
