Looking forward to seeing Germany against better opposition but still expect them to win by the odd goal. I'm hoping Slovenia can somehow close the USA game down so that we have a better chance of winning the group.

And then England. An early goal to settle nerves and then a comfortable 4-0 hammering. Or a 0-0 disaster. BBC Sport are saying James is in goal tonight.

How optimistic are your country about your chances of getting out the group?

I don't know, we played well (though not very entertaining football) in the qualifications and then were absolutely shit against Algeria (who were terrible as well) but the win must have inspired some confidence into the team so I hope they'll be up for it today.
After the Algeria win people here became overly optimistic and nearly everyone expects a win, though I doubt they'll be disappointed if we don't qualify but play well and put up a fight.

I've been quite impressed too - his final pass or shot hasn't always been spot on, but overall he looks promising IMO. Some of the criticism he's had from one or two posters has made me wonder which player they were actually watching.
