It's not just his call though. I don't get how the VAR team don't deem that a clear & obvious error so make him review it.

Happened a few times now. The wrestling with kane & the early match today where a striker was pulled down by two defenders before the ball dropped in as well.

If anything the VAR team are more to blame cos the idea is to correct the referees original error, which are understandable at the pace the game is played at & the angle/view the ref has.
