Its gotten better but its still not "enjoyable" to watch. But I dont mind it all.
I also dont mind it being an option on Fifa 16. If you dont want to play it then just dont bother with it.
Some of the comments when Fifa made this public was insane to read tbh.
People saying they wont buy the game anymore etc. Grow up FFS.
It's funny when minority sports are taken this seriously. Actually, scrap that. It's not funny. It's absolute horseshit. Imagine if TV companies spent more time on women's sports that are actually good and worth watching...
I've been wondering that. Surely only very few women play football, don't they? Compared to something like hockey or netball, I mean.
The standards in those sports are presumably much higher, yet no-one televises those championships and preaches at us to take an interest.
You've got Charlotte Moore in charge of BBC1. She's so obsessed with fulfilling a women's quota that she's shoehorned female footballers on to shows like Football Focus, no matter how uncomfortable they look doing it. And then you've got Kate Shillinglaw in charge of BBC2, who thinks loads of live coverage of the women's game is going to elevate it to high status. Combine that with the fact neither really has any real knowledge of football and you have a recipe for hours and hours of slo-mo hippos.

How far down the men's football pyramid would you have to go to find football of an equivalent standard? My guess would be somewhere around County FA level. Who'd watch that on TV? I'm all for women who want to play the game having the opportunity to do so, but the bigging-up of the women's game in the media is political posing, pure and simple.
Never realised he had one.
Shouldn't this be in the Other Sports forum ??
Bradley: they wouldn't be able to survive the 2nd qualifying round, let alone the 2nd round proper. I'd be all in favour, though, if it forced people to face up to the utter ridiculousness of promoting women's soccer as a top-level media event.
I'm sure Ken would agree BTW.
