Without a top class striker or player working magic the only way you can do that is with creativity, & we don't have anyone playing well enough upfront to provide that creativity sadly.

Having little to no technical knowledge, I've been wondering lately if it might not work to sit back and let the other team come on to us a bit (while actually having enough back to give a try at defending instead of three guys running backwards at full pace trying to defend. Maybe intentionally give them the ball a bit in midfield.
