yeah we "dominate", but create nothing.
flukey goal could decide this game. hopefully we are the lucky ones.

a six out of ten performances would easily win this game, unfortunately this is a four out of ten performance at best. Woeful uninspiring stuff, its not even battling its just....effortless, and not in the good way

Come on Bren, Maxi has been one of the few bright spots.

Slow attacking football isn't the way forward, and we're really lacking pace. And it shows..

To be fair, McCarthy has got his tactics right, with players tight to Lucas and Masher when we're in possession, forcing us to hoof.

Get Purple Aqui on for The Invisible Cunt

Leave off, he is doing no worse than anyone else.

That is one of the worst 45 minutes of "football" I have ever watched. Absolutely pathetic. I've played in better quality games I reckon. Sweet Jesus. Hopeful ball after hopeful ball. I know the pitch looks brutal but its still no excuse to the football they've resorted to out there. Truly depressing stuff

Look, every game can't always be the worst you've ever watched. Really have a think about it, there's a lot to choose from this season.

The Invisible Cunt, Zorba, Insewer, Kuyt, Maxi, Riera, Carra...it's the slowest First XI the Premiership has ever seen!

Unfortunately, I'm not joking. It is.

It is indeed. And you could say that for quite some of our matches this season.

Do I always say that? I dont post very often so I doubt it but I am certain thats that is a top 3 worst 45minutes of football I've ever watched and i've watched over half of all games in african nations this year!

Fantastic game. Easy on the eye, and the tension of waiting for what happens next is unbearable. I can't take it.

The first half of the Stoke (a) game was way worse than this.
Ah i only saw last 20 of that cause was on way to airport. Glad I missed it so

Insewer is never rubbish beyond belief. I can easily believe how fucking rubbish he is.

And livvy> we are the slowest team in the Premieship

If Gerrard wasn't playing we'd be playing at an average speed of 'backwards'

Shite

Games like this can make you feel like giving up on football

Thanks Rafa!

And thanks also to all of your really, really shit footballers!

I'll probably be shot down for this, but i'd take Gerrard off.

He is clearly unfit, and struggling. If we keep rushing him back, i think he'll get injured again.

Switch him for Aqua.

Can we give Kuyt some rocket boots or something?

And Lucas a brain?
Are you offering your brain for the greater good?

I would prefer to see Gerrard stay on, and Lucas get injured
Not going to happen though, ever.

nothing wrong with that suggestion he is clearly below par as he has been for 90% of the season, however there are much worse players out there at the moment and thats the real problem, its a collective lack of urgency. Its very early in his anfield career but by God Maxi looks like a Rafa player
