The real question is will people be disappointed if we sign Mbappe only to realise he’s not going to score 40 goals a season and will have his share of games like tonight where nothing work. Great player but he’s not Messi or Ronaldo as so many believe him to be.

I remember running to Mrs Woland so happy that we'd signed Torres. Can't remember exactly what variables made me the most excited I'd ever been that we'd signed a player but it was just boss. I didn't know much about Alonso etc before they arrived.

Yeah, and i knew how good Torres was before he joined us and could not believe the price and the fact that he signed for us. He was the last superstar we signed in my view. The only equivalent right now would be to sign Grealish but i guess everyone know about him now and we cant afford him.

I was referring to our fan base that would have that opinion not that it’s my own which I thought was very clear. Maybe not. I think he’s outrageous and would love him here.
