Scum, chavs and city all have a zillion options up front.

We have the studge who hasn't played a whole season for yonks,
Luis who misses 7 games a season and courtinho. Rather we have some options up front, match winners who can turn 1 point into 3.

Barrett now tweeting that we're about to submit a revised bid and that neither ourselves nor Spurs have a deal in place yet.

Ergo he hasn't a clue.

Errrr.....we don't have problems creating chances. The problem is we can't put it in the net. Willian's goal scoring record suggests he's not going to change that.

Liverpool FC should discover by the end of the week whether their pursuit of Willianhas proven successful as the Brazil winger arrives in England to decide his future.

Willian is scheduled to jet in to the country inside the next 24 hours having already revealed his next move will be to a Premier League club.

Liverpool remain in pole position for the 25-year-old’s signature after last week opening talks with Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala over a possible transfer.

However, the move alerted Tottenham Hotspur whose manager Andre Villas-Boas refused to deny reports his team have also registered an interest in the player.

And while Willian will hold talks with Liverpool, he may also have discussions at White Hart Lane as he considers his options.

Willian has been made available for transfer despite having only joined Anzhi for £32million from Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk in January.

Anzhi’s billionaire owner Suleyman Kerimov is looking to cut costs having bankrolled the club for the last two years, but any hopes of a significantly reduced sale have been dashed by an asking price believed to be in the region of 30m euros.

Liverpool are in negotiations in an attempt to drive down the fee, but could have their hand forced should Tottenham table a bid for the attacking left midfielder.

Liverpool are keeping a close watch on FC Groningen’s teenage striker Richairo Zivkovic, 16.

Executive director Hans Nijland said: 'All the top clubs in Holland want him but Liverpool are here every week too. They are watching him closely and very keen.'

Liverpool are awaiting news on their bid for Anzhi playmaker Willian with Tottenham also in the frame.

@NewsTweetsLFC: LFC have held positive talks regarding a fee for Willian and have received encouragement from his reps, James Pearce Echo

I'd rather offer the same amount for Draxler. 19 and he's only 10 goals behind Willian's total (playing in a good league not some Mickey Mouse one).

Draxler has already confirmed himself that a move is out of the question.
He's staying at Schalke.

I don't think we have a hope of signing Draxler this summer. He said that despite interest from the likes of City this summer he wants to stay.

Arguably if the likes of City and Madrid are interested we don't have a chance next summer either.

Why would he choose also-rans over the 2013/14 English champions?

He's a stepping stone, normally we would not be able to sign him, but luck is on our side. Once he comes we increase our appeal to others, who we would struggle to get: draxler etc.

30m is a fucking expensive stepping stone.

I'd risk jumping across & getting my feet wet.
