I think all of Fabio's deliveries were in very good areas but not one of our players attacked the ball, bar Skrtel right at the end.
Stevie's corners often don't clear the first man. The Greek and Carroll would have made a huge difference for Fabio today.

I am not too disheartened. We were unlucky not to have shaded it at the end with Luis's Free kick. Maxi and Deadly however were dire...and I am starting to believe that Pacheco's days with us may be numbered. He didn't get a look in under Roy and the same seems to apply under Kenny. Maybe it's a trust issue with his style of play, but could he really be any worse than Jova or Maxi??
I don't think Pacheco has what it takes as much as we wish for him to succeed. We've seen more for Shelvey from his few games than Pacheco has given.
It's not even an issue of having the skill to succeed, it's more mentality and decision making and I think that's the reason Pacheco will never make it here.

- It was a mistake to replace Meireles with N'gog. Poulsen should have come on instead.
- Lucas, Kuyt, Maxi were shocking
- Skrtel and Carragher both were pretty good, except for the goal.
- Today was the first time I've seen Kelly struggle with a player. Too much came in from his side.
- Suarez was great to watch. If he loses the ball he chases and chases and chases. Great attitude.

He did get the odd run out, they were just disappointing. He looked ok at times last year, but this year he's been poor.

Don't get this kuyt was awful, I'm not his biggest fan. But today I thought he was good. The amount of times he was beating people was a first for me. He faded towards the end but received a standing ovation when he came off. Not a reception a player gets when they have normally played bad.

With regards to Deadly...I only managed to catch the second half, and I just remember groaning time again at his first touch....which we all know is not the best. He has been quite good in recent games mind.
I still have a hope (wearing thin) that Joe Cole will come good once he is fit in a 4-3-3.

We really lack some creativity and pace out wide, hopefully that will be dealt with this summer.
Suarez looked good, knackered and a bit out of form but exciting. He'll be ace.
Getting Carroll in there aswell will make us a very hard team to beat.

I don't agree. He made his mistakes, but (as El Pistolero said) the Anfield crowd don't stand to applaud a bad overall performance.
I thought Kuyt combined well with Suarez and busted his gut.
His first touch deserts him most of the time but there are times when he does some stupendous things. He may be a limited player but he can't be faulted for always giving 100%.
He was by no means top drawer yesterday but he put in a shift.
