Why I love Klopp more than Rodgers already

Will he believe again?

Nevermind the talking sense stuff.

The main reason is that at the first attempt he's completely tactically outwitted Jose where Rodgers never could. Even when a draw with our amazing team would have left the title in our hands Brendan still couldn't do it.

Jurgen I think I Klopp you!!

Yes, Rodgers was always unable to turn his mentor over.. this alone is a nice thing to see.

I believe him when he speaks. It's not scripted NLP bollocks it's genuine charisma.

Also, no yellow monster truck hat.

He's got a great record over Mourinho prior to today hasnt he?

Having a manager who knows how to beat other managers always seems to help in this football thingy.

Good luck to Brendan, just the wrong job for him. I love Klopp. I love the fact he's so calm and shrewd and positive. And classy, too. In the interview before the match, he said, 'I'm not better than Brendan, just different'. A nice touch. This club needs someone who is calm in himself, and sure of his ability. Brendan was always having to talk himself up. Klopp has no doubts about his own stature, so that frees up the time to concentrate on the job in hand.

I'm only having a pop at NLP. Rodgers had us playing some great stuff at times but I hate that bollocks management speak. Don't miss that or the envelopes. I wish him all the best though.

Yep. Funnily enough the need for a calm as well as confident manager is a large part of what led me to prefer the idea of appointing Ancelotti in the first place, but I like the way Klopp's come across in that respect since he arrived.

I do wonder what he said to that rent boy sat behind him. It reminded me of Tom Cruise that time someone squirted water at him.

Its always a great idea to ignore the previous games where nobody was tactically outwitted then proclaim a victory over the worst Chelsea side in years as evidence of managerial genius.

Take away the names of the team and the manager - we beat a team who with a quarter of the season gone is in a relegation battle.

It is nice not to have a spoofer in charge though

Ross is on one of his "I'm a brilliant contrarian" benders. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Enjoy the blue skies for a wee bit.

Really, after such a fantastic result and the rush of optimism we all feel from the new manager, do we have to have another pop at Rodgers thread?

My biggest issue with Rodgers even in the good times was his complete lack of ability to outsmart Jose so it's not a dog at him more a woo hoo Klopp has rolled him over on the first try.
Jose always seem to find a way to beat us even when we played well. Well not today, not to today!!
