Why are English supporters the most pitiful in world football?

My taste for aussy wine has rapidly dwindled over the last few years. Ive got a couple of two hands lily's garden there. Been there for years and I honestly cant imagine when I'll ever drink them.

Markets changing over here - different styles, end of the traditional varieties being produced.

McLaren Vale & Grenache is where it's at now.

Two Hands do some cracking wines.

S C Pannell & Yangarra are the two to keep an eye on.

The Pizza in Naples is amazing (and the only good thing in Naples)

I was in Naples two weeks ago. Sat down for a beer and to catch up on SCM. All of a sudden two guys behind me started to fight. Threw plastic chairs at each other. And neither of them were Russian or English.

Welsh pricks...

Drinking Nero in Scilly should've pretty good.

Negromaro is another one I've found particularly tasty.

I do tend to prefer reds that can ripen properly & whites from cooler climates that balance ripening with acidity.

Have you tried
Cantine di Ora Amicone Veneto Rosso ? Very nice

They had obviously been civilised by English hooliganism and put away their stilettos.

I haven't tried that particular wine - but from a quick search it seems to be in the Amarone style - ripe, almost raisony rich red.

A very popular style - I do like rich reds as opposed to the more earthy cooler climate reds - as a general rule - however, and this is where it gets complicated - I love cool climate Syrah/Shiraz & Central Otago Pinot Noir

the amarone/ripasso style seems to be really common practice in australia?

I do t think it is - Australia can get those flavours without drying out the grape skins.

The only time they go for the raisony flavours is when they're making fortified.

It's quite to opposite in the warmer climates - they need to pick earlier to avoid excessive alcohol - that big high alcohol, fruit bomb style, that did particularly well in the US, is something Australia is trying to get away from.

I know mitolo do it. Ive seen it elsewhere too.

True. But every nation has scumbags. Where you from again ? Northern Ireland? Fighting other people, smashing up shit and throwing stuff at police is a bit of a bus mans holiday really for your lot.

Yeah Northern Ireland. And what exactly have Northern Ireland/Ireland fans dome wrong over in France? From all reports they've been imbeccably behaved. Same can't be said for you lot.

Count me in on that. Lovely stuff.

Rooney justifying Roy's decision to play him in midfield. Very good again today. Lovely passing display

Yes. TBH I've never shared the view that he was best as a striker anyway, even in his younger days, so I'm not surprised he's doing well further back now with more experience to help him.

Yes. Because I've already said England have loads of fans who are bellends who like to like to smash shit up abroad. Like you lot like doing at home. You know. Fighting each other, smashing shit up and bottling the police. So all of you must be like that obviously. Because that's what stereotyping does innit? I've never been to an England game in my life btw. One, because I don't really give a shit and two I couldn't be arsed surrounding myself with pissed up dickheads - minority or not.

Not meaning to offend Rurik, but I thought Ukraine has always had some linkage to Fascism though Rurik, no? Or was all that eliminated over time and just a minority. The fascists in these countries have also adopted the Celtic Cross for some reason. But I am assuming its a minority no in all these countries?

What about Austria's election recently? And you have to think there will be a German political reaction to absorbing so many refugees too.

Huh? Honestly, I have no idea what you are referring to when you say that Ukraine "always" had links with fascism. The only thing I can think about is some German collaborators during the WW2, but for the most part they were pro-Ukraine independence rather than ideologically driven by fascism and a lot of them fought against both Russians and Germans – the most well-known of such collaborators, Stepan Bandera, has been put in a German concentration camp when he refused to support Hitler's plans for Ukraine and instead declared independence. But by far most Ukrainians did fight against Germany in WW2, unlike such Eastern European states as Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria, which were all part of the Axis.

Info on the Nazi symbolism of Celtic cross here.

I dunno, he's a very naturally talented player, so it's no surprise he can play further back. But he's a player who can suddenly lose his radar and touch, and that would be calamitous if it happens here. Anyway, he's been very good. Shame about the botox. And hair. And face.

I like leeks in pies. With chicken.

Look, I'm happy to chat and discuss vegetables, tubers and flowering greens and whatever all fucking day, as long as nobody tries to big up celery.

That's a line that I will not be crossed. Er, or allowed to be crossed. Or...cross. Whatever, you know what I mean. NO CELERY.

There's quite a few "you lot" type posts in this thread. Posters would be getting a fucking right shoeing around the forum if the subject matter were altered slightly.
