Why are English supporters the most pitiful in world football?

Ex-England footballer Stan Collymore said: "Somebody threw a, not a grenade, something that went bang towards some England fans and the England fans have just run."

The gas and pepper spray appears to have been used when fans ran away from the bang and towards police lines.

Thats a very selective quote.

Yep loads of bellends. Its the main reason I can't ally myself with the national team. A massive gang of dickheads. I hope England stay in though. That way all these xenophobic cunts won't be home in time to vote Leave. Unless they've been deported. Mind you, carry on the way they're going they'll be disqualified.

EU nationals can't be deported. There's a removal order allowed under Article 27&28 but they are imposssible to enforce.
You'd need a string of convictions and evidence of a serious threat into the future.

Hooligans rights can't be infringed - i'm amazed none of the ones whose passports were taken didn't challenge the decision in court.

Football Hooligan in lack of legal knowledge shocker!

Its a real pity it didn't happen , it would have been a very public example of the ridiculous level the human rights movement has reached and inidicative of how little power states have to deal with these issues.

I don't understand how Mark missed this quote from the same Beeb article that he quoted from:

Hundreds of supporters engaged in scuffles with the police, who used tear gas, flash bangs and baton charges to disperse them.

The fears earlier in the day had been of attacks by hardcore Russian hooligans, but this was very much an English problem.

They sang their chant "Please don't send me home" and threw bottles in challenge at the police.

After funnelling fans down the city's streets, the police withdrew and some fans were left to stay in the city centre, if in a less boisterous mood

Interesting..

I don't understand how Mark missed this quote from the same Beeb article that he quoted from:

What I saw was drunken, boisterous behaviour with young lads in the coathanger stance shouting at the Riot Police to 'come on' (LOL), bars being closed down on Police order, said riot police in full uniform with batons drawn and CS gas canisters used to disperse (anybody and everybody runs to avoid the gas) 'crowds'.

I also saw a Sky reporter with a bullet proof vest and a flak jacket! on following the Police lines 'reporting' what was expected (it wasn't necessary for it to actually happen). There was no fighting that could be seen. Whoever the Police commanders are they should be brought to task for the sledgehammer to crack a nut policy. Although I doubt Police commanders could get it wrong.

I'm not sure what Beeb article Mark was quoting, but he said it reported that Russian fans were waiting for English fans at the railway station, which was totally wrong. The Russians were at their match, and video clearly shows that it was the English who were waiting on them ( the Russians)

So many uneducated twats on here! Roast dinner veg mentioned and yet not one of you has put forward roasted parsnips!

Roast pumpkin, broccolini (not fucking broccoli) & green beans.

Cauliflower too.

As if I eat any of that shit.

People need to understand that mashed potato & roast potato are 2 different yet complimentary foods.

I often source 2 different types of potato for my roasts.

The England Supporters Association is utter shite. That doesn't help. Their head - can't remember his name - is forever on the radio and TV boasting about how they're doing all these great things to make supporters behave properly abroad, but on the eve of this tournament all he was moaning about was the alcohol ban outside of fan zones in the first town they were due to visit. Hopeless.

Roasted cauliflower is great, especially with some Chinese five spice and soy sauce. You hto make sure that the pieces of cauliflower have lots of space between them or else it ends up tasting boiled, and that's not nice.
