Sell them, if we can get £60m-£70m for the pair, it would be decent business. Werner and Grealish and an LB. Outgoing Shaq, Wilson, and Grujic
60-70m for Grujic and Wilson?

That was the combined fee. Wilson 30m ish and Grujic about the sameIt's not completely insane.
Wilson could fetch over 30m and I would imagine Grujic would me a minimum of 50m. Still a gap but not completely impossible.
Hold on £50 mill for Grujic? He's not exactly lighting the Bundesliga on fire. I'd definitely agree with you if he was English and therefor got the premium price tag but nah. No one is paying 50 mill for him. Maybe 25-30 tops. It's not completely insane.

Wilson is at about 20-25 mill imo.

I'm not sure what fee we can expect for Grujic (probably not loads) but 20-25M for Wilson seems on the low side.
7 goals in 20 appearances so far for a struggling Bournemouth team after scoring 16 in the Championship.
I'm kinda done with the Ox experiment.
I doubt he'd have started tonight had Fabinho have been fully fit but the guy just isn't good or consistent enough.
He's fine as a squaddie who can fill in in the middle and out wide but if we're looking for ways to improve the first team then that AM spot is top of the list.
Yeah he was great before the knee injury. I'm willing to give him more time, but it's not looking good at all. Keita was a lot better than him when he played regularly this season.I'm kinda done with the Ox experiment.

With Keita it's injuries not ability though and when you consider the cost of bringing someone in...well, I don't really think we're selling them.Keita is equally close to the door. We cannot rely on either of them.
Werner makes the most sense for next season. Finishing is a weakness of ours and Werner just eradicates that. I think he would score shit loads for us and would freshen up our attack. Players like Sancho and Havertz are just the sort you have to go in for if and when they become available. They look like generational talents and are destined for a great career at the top sides.
Sancho seems a bit too JLingz to play for us, but lets see. I still feel he'll end up at Chelsea on a huge contract.
Werner would be the top priority for me. Perfect for us and he can cover 3 positions so he needn't even really be backup - in theory we could just rotate all 4 of them every 4th game. That's pretty much what City do and I think it's a good compromise.
Ox had pretty much the worst injury it's possible to have so it's completely predictable that he's still struggling. Next season we'll hopefully see him getting closer to where he was.
I still think a really top class midfielder could improve us, but I'm not sure if that player's out there. I suppose we all thought Keita was going to be that guy. Gerrard in his prime would be fantastic in this team. Yeah, goals from midfield, we could do with that. We don't score enough full stop, and our non-scoring midfield is the reason why.
I've been looking for those stats. The average top striker scores from roughly 1:4 chances so that corresponds nicely. It was obvious our strike force were all higher than that (despite often hearing saying commentators and analysts saying they are 'clinical' - which they clearly aren't). That said we (or they specifically) create a lot of chances so that goes some (a long) way to balancing it out.Salah, Mane and Firmino are just not out and out clinical players. They can be on their day, but for the most part they tend to need plenty of chances before they score.
This season Mane has scored every 4.8 shots taken, Salah takes 6.9 shots, Firmino every 9. In contrast, Werner has scored with every 3.5 shots taken (stats all from league matches). If he can replicate that in a red shirt it would go someway to increasing our scoring.

We're fucked in 3 years.
