Who am I? - part 3

(It's a bit vague, but I trust that you'll probably get it right anyway)

I was born in Europe in the 70s.
I won every domestic trophy in my home country. I even won the Champions League whilst playing there.
In my first season in the Premier League I won the double. Those were the last trophies I won.

I finished my career in Spain, although I did make a short comeback in my home country a few years later.
I played in two Euro's and two World cups and almost made it to the final in both competitions.

Who am I?

Yes, the list of dutch players who won the double at arsenal is almost endless, I'm ashamed, it's almost unforgivable that I've robbed everyone here who were adults or at least teenagers in the 90's of the chance to guess at all the countless permutations.
