I can't see us loosing another game this side of Christmas.

People said he had a tough start Arsenal City United, they said it'd get better, a Fluke of a goal (backpass) v Sunderland at home gave us a draw and papered over the cracks, Blackpool showed the cracks had turned into a Chasm.
Some people said we'd get 15 points from our next 5 games, now we are hoping against hope for 4-5-6 or 7.

I wanted Benitez gone because I didn't think we could afford another transfer window with him in charge. Nor did I think he was a man to motivate and get the best out of a small squad. I championed Hodgson as a replacement because he proved himself capable of making shrewd signings in the Premiership, he got the best out of players who many had written off, and he was always respectful other managers and teams, which I admired. A past pedigree of winning loads of trophies didn't seem the be all and end all because of the condition the club was in. There was logic in the decision, but right now it's looks like we made - and I supported - the wrong choice and it's turning into a disaster.
I'm not going to defend him blindly because I wanted Roy here, but, after a completely unacceptable start, a small part of me still believes he will turn it around. Give him until Christmas and see where we're at then - but if fair to say an upturn in performance has to happen ASAP.
