Personally I think it's the injuries.

We are a well oiled team when we have the first 11 are playing. When they are not, the balance is all off. For all our much vaunted squad depth at the start of the season, it's really looking like the bare bones now.

I'm distraught that our best chance looks to being blown because of a lack of ambition in January, and a certain amount of stupidity (in letting Clyne go on loan when Gomez was nowhere near back).
The injuries have decimated our coherence & style of play.

It's easy to say we're ok cos we have big well known names on the pitch, but when you look below the surface there's issues with playing loads of them, whether it's Milner at right back, Keita in that central role alongside a Lallana who's not long back from injury, Matip alongside VVD after not playing real football until this inisy spell.

They all take their toll individually, & all at once just seems too much to get over.

I’m still really pissed off about Clyne being loaned out.
 
Poor from Fabinho that. Misjudged the bounce & left Allison to deal with it outside his area with an attacker yards away.
