Yep, I just hope Rodgers doesn't bite. Sadly Mourinho manages to get a rise out of whatever manager he targets like this.
I think BR has worked under him so he will know what he trying to do. The only thing is BR gets overwhelmed sometimes to hear such things, he needs to keep everyone on the ground and win against Fulham first. I have got such a low confidence in away matches this season, our stats are really poor, I am not sure if we can turn them around onvernight.
I think the problem is with the mentality with our squad. he first of all, the manager has to believe in it, fuck 'believing in title', BR only has recently started to believe that 'his methods, tactics can work at such a big club like Liverpool'. We must keep in mind that this is his first job at this level.
He has indeed worked under him, I'm hoping that helps us.
I worry for this reason that these words might have more of an effect on BR. Mourinho certainly got the better of him in the build up to the away game at Christmas.
Rodgers just has to stick with the 'we will try to win every game and see where it takes us' line, no point saying anything else.

Winning is essential in the hunt for 4th. Thats the most important goal. Cl qualification. Everything else is a bonus.
We need to keep Spurs/Everton 5/6 points behind us and I think they'll fall off a bit. Surley Spurs luck will run out soon and their fixture list the coming month is horrendous. Everton look very flat and could well drop some points. They've got Chelsea away next weekend aswell.

Couldnt agree more. Its all about winning the next game. Everything will or will not fall into place.
No, it's actually all about the next 13 games, the next game is only worth about 7.5%, we could win tonight and it wouldn't matter if we don't win any of the others. So we should concentrate on winning all our games, not just tonight.
We should just decide to never lose again, if we really want to be sure.
That works for me.

I think the problem is with half the members of this board ! Our current position really sorts the 'cup half full' from the 'cup half empty' types 😉
Wouldn't work - Rodgers needs to be able to rotate his CBs.
