At last you showed a pair of balls.Today he picked the side that 99% of supporters would have picked.
We wanted 442 and we got it.

I dont rate konchesky at all but thought he done ok today and ask yourself this.Name any player in the world whos standing virtually still who would have caught lennon today? not fuckin one.

Hodgson set us up brilliantly today and those who just want to blame the manager are wankers.

We were outstanding today and if you want to vent your anger how about doing it towards our number 9 who was fuckin awful? Oh sorry you cant do that as your breaking the flow were its easy to blame the manager.

Correct team Correct formaton.

Shit no 9 and shit referee.

unfair on torres. He loked a constant threat, however still isn't at his best. The ref gave a lot to them, granted, but he didn't cost us the game.

Fair post Mark. Torres was off colour today for sure. We played well at times and would have been well clear if Maxi and Torres had taken their chances. Torres did do some good things too though as did Maxi. Can't blame Hodgson for what happened on the field today whatsover. Ref was a bit of a homer.
He did mate. They got that free kick which led to there pen,Granted they missed but it just built up there momentum. Also we should have had a pen and also he booked 5 players of ours and not one of theres,Thats right the ref didnt cost us.

Atkinson's a sh!te ref anyway, and certainly doesn't seem to like us either home or away. Not a good combo if you're a Red.

He wasn't the only reason why we lost momentum second half though. Roy's tactics played a part in that, and if you don't believe me just ask the commentators.

i still don't think it was a pen as assou ekotto won the ball then the momentum took him through kuyt.
Commentators??????? I watched the game so dont need anyone to tell me,We played 442 till the end and gave it a tremendous go.People who cant see an improvement today are dillusioned.

I couldn't give a shit what the commentators said, they're just another bunch of opinions, it's like the argument about managers having coaching badges and always being right.
like glen johnsons 2 mins later outside the box for which he got booked.

Nobody's saying there wasn't an improvement, but it wasn't enough, and Roy does not deserve a free pass for that.

As for the commentators - well, they were actually there, and that does count for something in my book.

blaming the inconstancy of the ref as judgement for a pen isn't good. It shouldn't have been a free kick when johnson did it, same when the pen wasn't given

Yep agree with this. Except for the Konchesky point. A better defender wouldn't have got caught out there. Poor defending.

That kind of exaggeration is what means fuck all, mate. Of course your views carry weight as you're there in person. The point is that others were also there today and don't agree with you.

I agree with everything you've posted there Mark. We all know he's not the right man for us. We all know he comes out with some shite in the press. We all know he comes across as defeatist. But he went to White Hart Lane, put out arguably the strongest team he could and set us up to attack. But for some poor finishing we'd have taken all 3 points. Well done? Hmmmm....maybe not the right phrase to use. Hard lines? Yeah, that's more like it.

Yes, well done Budgie. Yet another defeat, another away game with no points, 10th in the league, six defeats before we even get to December, and our worst start to the season in about 60 years

Cheers

I agree mark i thought we were good today. Profligacy cost us. It was our best team and we played well enough to win. Not Roys fault at all.

Still think the subs demonstrated a total lack of ambition.

Torres was shite today though. Its Owen syndrome all over again. He's afraid to go 100% for fear of breaking down.

Reason we lost today was combo of Atkinson, Konchesky, and Maxi.

I was referring to Alan Green and Mike Ingham on BBC Five Live. Green especially was still on about it in the first bit of that phone-in he chairs after matches.

Ok. I was listening to Gray and the sky commentator. Martin whatever his name is. Alan is a big reds fan I think and I for one respect him.

However Im more in agreement with the sky guys today

Your clearly deluded the lot of yours..

It was his tactical nouse, or lack of that lost us the game..

The game was far too open for my liking..

His system is predictable and we where lucky to get away with a 2-1 defeat.. and Tottenham were not even at full strength for most of the game

Spurs on Paper were there for the taking...

Yeh well done Roy for getting us 19 points from 15 games...

NEXT.....

If he sat back though, Jono, you'd be slagging him off for being negative.

I hate Roy, I think he's shit. But I have no problem with how he approached this match. Shit finishing, shit players like Konchesky, and shit refereeing cost us today. Not the tactics.

That said, we shouldn't be in the position where we have 19 points from 15 games. But today Roy, and us, were hard done by.
