'liverpool have become like n'castle after sacking their manager after 6 months and hiring a manager who has been out of the game for ages'

1. the owners didn't hire roy so why the fuck should they feel an obligation to back him when he is fucking up.

2. why should the liverpool fans get behind a manager who was only hired during the diasterous tenure of the previous owners. who roy have been anywhere near the job had nesv aquired the club before roy was hired?
inter were in for rafa when he was sacked, we'll see who comes in for the 'quality' roy hodgson.

3. comparing keegan to kenny is just wrong, 1) kenny has actually win shit and 2) kenny has been actively involved in the club.

Let the media (and whoever among our competitors might want to jump on the bandwagon) spout all the piffle they like. The King will do his talking on the pitch, and a pound to a penny says the rest of them will all be eating their words in a little while.

Kenny Dalglish happy with short-term Liverpool role

"New Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish said he does not expect to be in charge beyond the end of the season.

Dalglish was given the job on a temporary basis on Saturday after the club parted company with Roy Hodgson.

"My understanding is that it's until the end of the season and that's no problem for me," Dalglish said.

"I've heard stories about demanding this and that, but when I was phoned on Saturday morning and asked if I'd take the job it was a straightforward yes."

More to follow. "

That's very good news IMO.

Reporter : "Do you worry about taking this job will put your legendary status at this club on the line to some extent ?"
Kenny : "Quite the reverse. I'd have thought I'll have put it on the line if I never took it. It would have been disrespectful for me (towards the club( if I hadn't take it when they needed help"

Why do these cunts keep banging on about Kenny Dalglish putting his 'legendary status on the line'?

Like we would ever turn on him, regardless of results?

Do they know fucking *nothing* about Liverpool?

This man is arguably the greatest player we've ever had. He's won every conceivable trophy as player and manager more than once.

He's so obviously, impossibly in love wit the club that it's almost fucking ridiculous.

And what Kenny did, and how he acted, and how he led us after the tragedy of Hillsbrough, has elevated him to a an untouchable position at the club that very few other people, at any club on Earth, could ever match.

So it's the most pointless, ignorant question ever.

bang on. like he's somehow, in even the remotest possible way, comparable to roy hodgson, and liable to similar treatment, is just fucking ridiculous and borderline offensive.

Wait 'til Aquaman reads it, he'll probably send brendan a bouquet or something.

Brendan, what's your favourite kind of flowers?

Aquaman should send you something that grows in the water. That can be like his calling card. A lotus, doesn't that grow in water?

I'm not so confident.

Quite a bit of the SOS cult were willing to have a go at Kenny for sitting beside Purslow at a game. They said he was "tainted".
