It was mentioned in here the other day but I've just heard similar on talk sport - Raheem Sterling is a good player that has done well for England during the world cup and if you disagree you don't understand football.
All I've seen him do is waddle about, occasionally getting in dangerous positions, only to fluff some great opportunities. Yea he makes runs and occupies defenders or whatever but a potential replacement like Rashford could also do that.
I wouldn't say he has stunk the place out but what's going on with people being overly defensive of him at the moment?
