6 points ahead of the mancs with 6 games gone as well. Who'd have thought.
This ties in with the The Moyes Effect thread, but using Man U as a barometer of success wouldn't be accurate in time.
Results comparison 2012/13 & 2013/14
Table wise after 6 games is indeed 8 points improvement but of those 6 games last season, we faced Man City, Arsenal and Man Utd in our 1st 3 home games.
Lets look at one game at the time. No other disturbance but the league. We'll be fresh and ready for every game.
Other teams wont look forward to meeting us and we've got Allen, Coutinho, Cissokho and Johnson coming back aswell.
Hopefully we'll use October to really get our grove going, but for now its Crystal Palace. Nothing else.

Yeah, it is 8 points when comparing corresponding fixtures, which is probably a better measure than comparing the first 6 fixtures.

We really need to beat Palace well to start the over excitement among the fans again.
Palace must be the only game we are thinking about. Fuck all this looking ahead bollocks. Plan to give them a shoeing and then decide what we do next.
