that would have been a first, anyway he would have not gone beyond and then just stopped and ran in a circle.

We have too many lightweight players in midfield and upfront. They are not world class nor are they quick. So when they don't bother to even fight, we have no advantage against most PL sides, who do fight and who are more physical.
Add to this shit defending and 0 threat up front, and that's what we have...

There may be the odd blind optimist among us (as is the case with any group of football fans), but they are few and far between.
