Warnock can probably do an ok job. But if Bburn is interested in loaning him out it means they are probably strengthening their team. To take cast offs from minor clubs isnt to exciting.
Haha, you know he's playing for Villa nowadays, don't you? 😉

As for this signing, I guess it's okay. He probably won't demand too much in wages if given the chance to come back here. Isn't he a local lad aswell?

Warnock is nothing special at all but Konchesky is really dire.

If we can rid of the latter then the former is an improvement of sorts I guess.

Not only is Warnock a Home Grown player he's a club grown player so its good for our squad balance with the registration stuff.

Quick, someone quote Insignificance's last post !

WOW !

Rosco
, you're being charitable !

Mamadou Sakho of PSG.
Awesome on FM10.

I'd like us to make a move for Baines. Only Cashley is a better LB in the Premiership.

There was a reason he was sold last time and that is because he was and still isn't good enough. Good it's fuvking depressing being linked to mid table dross. But hey that's how far we've fallen. Fabio contreau is a very good young left back.

We've been trying to get Cuntchesky shunted back off to Fulham, too.
They bought Salcido to replace him but I don't think he's been making the side lately.
Maybe Hughes will have him back.

Well then I would say that it is Houllier that has a soft spot for Liverpool still and hate to see Konchesky playing for us!!!

Told by a reliable mate today that Warnock is definitely being signed on loan till the summer with an option to buy.

Har har...

Fabulous.

What I've worked out frfom watching us over the last 6 months is that we just don't have enough mediocre dross in the side. And now with the addition of Stephen Warnock we can really call ourselves aq plucky midtable side of the highest order.

Who gives a fuck if he's *just* better than Konchesky? He's still shite. He wouldn't get into Arsenal, United, Chelsea, Spurs or City's second best teams.

We'll sign this fucking kipper, and then still be looking for a decent left-back come the summer. What's the fucking point.

We won't have to pay Konchesky for another 3 and a half years presumably. Otherwise it makes no sense

He's only on loan, wont cost us anything and will prevent us paying over the odds for someone during the season. I think it is a reasonable thing to do when we have a temporary manager (at least on paper anyway) in charge and a new manager would inevitably look to make changes.

It's not like we have anything to play for this season anyway...

Why, is he being sold?

Regardless, why buy shite like him and Warnock in the first place?

This is putting lipstick on a pig.

If we can rid ourselves of Konchesky and get Warnock, we'll have a younger, slightly better player and offload one with no resale value whatsoever. Yea, it's not some massive improvement, but it's the right decision making. We need two left backs anyway.

Yeah if we can sell one piece of shite, and replace him with another that'll be great.

My guess is that if we were to replace the collection of shite accumulated over the past 6 years with players who were actually good; we would first have to seek funding from the IMF.

The other good thing about this is that it adds another player to our back four who's capable of playing the long ball out of defence, as his 'preferred' option.

Fernando will be delighted.

Seriously and honestly (unless he's edited) the last Insigcan't be arsed post is GREAT.

Agreed. Seems like a perfectly sensible decision to me in our current circumstances.

What's the point in comparing us to City, Arsenal, Utd etc, Ryan? We're battling relegation. Midtable mediocrity is what we aspire to at the moment.

Sad but true! :-[

So it would.

But I very much doubt we can offload him; if he truly is off, it's probably because we're paying off the contract.

Two things Liverpool excel at are paying off contracts and buying shit players.

If Warnock is only here on loan till the summer, it's an incremental improvement and is okay.

If we're actually going to buy him and he'll be here in the long-term, it's a waste of money and a repeat of the same mistakes we've been making for years.

It's a loan deal with option to buy Keni, which we probably will.

And we'll probably end up buying him for more than what we sold him for.

How much did we sell him for?
