Told by a reliable mate today that Warnock is definitely being signed on loan till the summer with an option to buy.

Well if it means that we can focus on getting a defensive midfielder or a winger or a striker....i suppose i could live with that.

I don't mind him, but i'm sure there's a much better left back available.

Still, i'm not too arsed if it's on loan rather than permanent.
 
There probably is much better available, but a lot depends (a) on the cost and (b) on how far John Henry is willing to loosen the purse-strings. Taking Warnock to enable us to spend more in other, more crucial areas is OK by me.

hahaha, it's horrible isn't it, having to look back on a season and cling on to overtly twisted positives like "Fuck me Lucas was shit", and hearing the reply "Yeah, but he's still better than Poulsen". Still, in the pub earlier, noticed we're deffo less fickle than the blueshite, who came out with some vitriol about Beckford only to go, seconds later when they scored, on about how great a signing he was. Fuck me.

6 months of Warnock is infinitely preferable to another 3 and a half years of Konchesky. This would be a good move if we can pull it off.

Wasn't there some talk about Urby Emanuelson recently?
 
Good move as it allows us to spend more time searching for players in our other required roles. Warnock will come here knowing some of the playing staff already and also be familiar with the training ground which should help him settle into the team quicker.
 
Warnock can probably do an ok job. But if Bburn is interested in loaning him out it means they are probably strengthening their team. To take cast offs from minor clubs isnt to exciting.
