Skrtel scared the shit out of me today.
Adam was shite, despite working his bollocks off, which is also scary. Lucas was just meh.
Our midfield looked 100 times better within a minute of Gerrard coming on.
Carroll was very good, he had the defenders run ragged, I'd like to see him & Suarez interchanging more, I dont like Andy playing so deep all the time, I think we negate his best quality of mithering their CB's & making space. Nope, he put in a decent shift today and it was by some distance his best performance of the season, he should have scored with a header in the second half and really should have worked the keeper with the opportunity right at the end but it didnt cost us the game. Think its fair to say he should have scored today, he was much improved, maybe the return of Gerrard combined with Bellamys goal the other night has reminded him that there will be alot of competition for places either way its a positive step
