Both Suarez & Carroll were running wide & pulling the defenders away from the two players with the ball, they took two players each, hence why Stevie got so much space.

Carroll so unlucky not to score there, a wee bit selfish but he nearly pulled it off.
Carroll with a fine chance at the end, but tries to take the same player on about 30 times.
