Oh I think Mignolet will start, but I'm pretty ambivalent either way to be honest.

Long term Karius is the better prospect, and I think Klopp is going to find a way to shoe-horn him back into the starting gig, but I'm just not sure it'll be at Old Trafford.

I'd be very surprised and worried if he did. I don't think either are very good but it looks like the pressure of playing for Liverpool is perhaps too much for Karius yet.

He needs time to adjust to playing where you are expected to make little or no mistakes and to win every week. Manz was a different ball game.

For that reason alone I'd play Ming, at least he's used to the big games

I think we're quick to judge.

It took Adam Lallana 18 months to adapt to the demands of being a Liverpool player. And he's a 28 year old with 10+ years of playing in England at the top level.

I'm not about to right off a 23 year old kid 10 games into a new league. Karius has all the attributes to be a fantastic keeper.

Not writing him off yet at all, just don't think he's ready at the moment to be our no1 in the league.

He's obvious got talent but how he is developed will be a key factor. We need to handle him carefully.

Look at Friedel, he came in with a great rep, couldn't cut it but went on to have a very good career elsewhere in the league, playing consistently into his 40's

No he isn't.

He's spent the first half of his career in the Championship

Stop making sense... You might be on the wrong forum for that!

Oh FFS. I actually do think we play worse in that kit.

I don't know why, it's completely irrational, but I always think we're gonna play shite when we wear it.

Have we played well wearing it yet?

We're Liverpool. We should be signing Keepers ready to go. We shouldn't have to endure another Calamity prone keeper for a season undoing all our good work on the pitch. He's cost us, what 3 points so far?

Raise your bleedin' expectations. He should be written off. We're waay too nice. We can do much better.

The media are creaming over scums form but they've played a bag on of spanners, they ain't come up against an attacking force like ours in that 9 or 10 ten game run.. we need to shut them skip rats up and gob shite zlatan,
Make it count Klopp.

Regarding the whole keeper deal, my take is that Mignolet doesn't deserve to be replaced despite Karius MOM performance against Southampton.
Ming has done nothing wrong so far.

Klopp is not as offensive in his pressers as earlier. Hope he is ouzing confidence in training. We need his leadership now.

Just realized if results go our way this weekend we could 2 pts off top or they go against us we could be 5th.

This place will go into meltdown if the latter happens.

It's a must not loss game

I've said many times I'll be surprised if we sit comfortably in the Top 4 by the end of March, and shocked if we are still 2nd (where with their run of weaker teams to play United could well be before hitting the skids). I do expect us to still comfortably finish in the Top 4 though and a run at the title is still not beyond us, though that really depends on how Chelsea perform.

United are playing well and have lots of quality players.

If we play like we have in the last four or five games we are going to lose badly

We badly need Henderson back and on top of his game otherwise Pogba will run riot, and Coutinho has been a big miss

One wonders where the goals might come from, and how much damage they can do to a mediocre defence, but on the plus side, we can't play any worse than we have recently

Klopp's team selection will be interesting

Hopefully he can keep up the trend of not losing to any top 12 side

Why on earth would one be wondering where the goals are going to come from? Where they've been coming from all season from the League's highest scorers...albeit Mane is away and we're not as freescoring as we were a few months ago.

Because we haven't created as many chances since Coutinhos injury who's only just back and will be rusty, Mane is away, Henderson is injured and our alternatives in midfield aren't playing well.
Sturridge is playing shite, Firminio has been out of sorts and Origi is hot and cold. Lallana is the only constant and he needs service from teammates who aren't doing it at the moment.
Couple this with the fact we are playing a team who's manager is a demi God at restricted top sides from creating changes against them and they already stifled us once this season.
You would be mad not to worry about it

Mane is our top scorer and is missing. Coutinho has been injured.
Lallana hasn't been a reliable goalscorer in his entire life
Origi is mediocre
Firmino has scored one goal in his last 10 games and 6 in total
We haven't created or scored many goals in the last 5 or 6 games and we haven't won yet this year

I think it's entirely reasonable to be slightly concerned about the game and where our goals might come from

I think we will see a far more attacking and dangerous United in this game.

He will come at us, quite obviously
