Agreed on Allen - he took one for the team there with that cynical foul on Lamela to break up a quick counter attack. He was saying about the need for the team to do that in some games just a few days earlier, and delivered on his promise.

I noticed that too, he's constantly putting players under pressure with his passing.

Sakho is excellent in moving and playing a high line with Lovren as Skrtel sits back and doesn't listen to Lovren. However, Sakho looks nervous. Maybe it's due to it being his first game in a while, but needs to improve this second half.

Hope we score another quickly, then maybe switch down to 4-5-1 to put another body into the midfield. Balotelli has tracked back to help at times but still feel we seem to be over-matched there when they attack because of their pace and mobility and Gerrard's lack of it.
