I like the look of Aspas. Good on the ball, and links well with others.

Not so sure about ole Jonjo Alberto though. Wandering around in the number 10 role like a lost fucking sheep.

When I playing in school a game was delayed because a sheep did just that and we had to catch it and tie it up

Is this Spot the Ball? Is that coming back? Okay, I reckon it's either just to Rodgers' right or else it's just a bit to Suarez's left, because they're looking in opposite directions.

Nah it's spot the whistling cunt.

Alberto has been promising so I dont get the hate.
Skilled as fuck and hasnt misplaced a pass so far.
He'll be the one that will need the most time to adapt but its great that some has written him off already.

My view on Alberto is from the 65 mins he played against Indonesia, not a 15 minute cameo yesterday.
And Allen was very good, so I dont know what you've been smoking Dreamy.

That YNWA at the start of the game was fucking unreal and 95,000 people attending a friendly match(even in a massive country like Australia) is mighty impressive.

Sometimes you forgot just how huge Liverpool FC is!

Indeed some people do Gary.

People who wondered in this very thread how a club like Liverpool could draw that crowd given our current mediocrity.

At the end of BBC2's "Newsnight" programme last night, they showed the Melbourne crowd singing "You'll Never Walk Alone."
So it even impressed the chattering classes! 🙂

I showed my 5yr old daughter that clip last night. She was transfixed by it and her words were "that was amazing Dad, I can't wait to go and sing YNWA at a game with you"

So a 5yr old gets it, but some of our own fans don't. Of course she has been brain washed to an extent!

I thought Alberto's passing was ok - ghe lad can pick a pass.

Is it just me thinking that's what he looks like all the time?

Perhaps cos it's only the snippets you're not getting the full story, but I don't see that much different there to normal

Exactly. If you were looking for sulkiness, there was a bit of it there. But Suarez often looks like that.

Yeah, I mean, it's obvious he's been whoring himself out for a move, but in terms of looking sulky it just looks pretty standard to me tbh.

He's always had a face like a smacked arse.

Course - it seems people are saying he didn't put any effort in, which I guess is a different thing

I didn't watch it so I couldn't say.

I reckon if by some chance he is still with us, he'll put the effort in when he plays, I don't think he'll be able to help himself
