I think we're getting about what we want, and not executing particularly well. I don't think how we're playing particularly relies on pace at all, other than at FB. Yes, there's some really long straight passes through the midfield, looking to get behind, but most of what we're doing involves our fullbacks, neither of which is that great, depending which direction they are going.

Firmino isn't playing that well on the ball, but he's the only player we have who can play this role. If Sturridge is in, I think we look more exposed. They are defending very well.

I didn't choose the team dude, I'm just positing a theory as to why Klopp did select this team.

I think sturridge actually does do a fair bit of work, but he doesn't, shouldn't ever be getting stuck in in our half regularly cos then he couldn't do what he does best.

Klopp obviously wants that extra energy doing defensive work tonight.
