In Klopp I'm a believer.

Firstly I'd like to take this time to wish a Happy New Year to all fellow Liverpool fans.

Here's to whats going to be a fantastic year ahead in 2017.

First up is a long cold trip up to tyneside against relegation strugglers Sunderland, off the back of a heavy defeat to rivals Burnley.

I see nothing but a convincing display and the 3 points.

Line up? expect a few changes being < 24 hours from the hard fought win against City.

Mignolet Clyne Lovren Klavan Moreno Lucas Can Milner Mane Origi Sturridge

The senior players will have a rest after this game with the FA Cup at home to Plymouth next weekend so as few changes as possible.

I guess Matip, Coutinho and Henderson will be out so it could be Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Klavan, Milner, Wijnaldum, Can, Lallana, Mane, Origi, Firmino.

Sturridge and Ojo to come on and both to start against Plymouth.

Depends if there were any knocks etc yesterday. I hope the likes of Clyne and Milner can play so that we can keep the back 5 the same.
I'd start both Studge and Origi.

Sunderland will probably be without Kone and Anichebe who got injured yesterday.

Will be a tough game as it always is away to Sunderland, but an early goal could see them deflate a bit.

Think Klopp said it wasnt serious and not the same heel problem as earlier but probably out of tomorrows game.

I'd go with the following:

Mign
Clyne
Lovren
Klavan
Milner

Can
Lallana
Gini

Mane
Studge
Firmino

the back 4 would all have to be rested against Plymouth, as would Lallana and Gini.

Wouldnt mind that, although I would like to play Origi aswell. Maybe rest Firmino.

I can imagine Hendo would give anything to captain us against his boyhood club.

Given the game after this is an opportunity to rest those needing one, i'd hope we keep a very similar line up. Wouldnt be surprised to see Origi start, and Can keep his place in the middle so maybe one of Firmino or Mane to be rested..

Looking forward to this one, time to give Moyesy a battering!

Is Mane eligible to play or was yesterday his last game?

Mané has to start if fit tomorrow.

We've appaz hired Dave Galley to accompany Mané to the AFCON as his own personal physio.
Klopp doing everything to for his player.

Excellent news if we can play Mane. The mancs have been refused permission to play Bailly tomorrow.
That's very strange considering the date it seems we have to release the players by is the day after our Sunderland match. National teams have no right to refuse any club, which pay their wages and which they are contracted to, permission to use their own players. Is United's game at a later date ?

Thought mane was off before this game.

Great news if not.

Replacing Henderson is a big component we need to get right tomorrow

I don't think we'll see too many surprises. We play Plymouth a few days later so Klopp can chose to rest the first team then instead.

If Hendo is out, I would prefer to see a trio of the below with Origi or Studge moved to the front three than bringing in a Stewart or Lucas.

--------Can----
Lallana---Wiji---
