I hate him so much. He was excellent though. Salah got nothing all day
The ref was absolutely appalling. He was crucial to the mancs' game plan. If he'd enforced the rules we would have had a spate of free kicks just outside the area and then our forwards would have had time to turn and set up some chances. It was GBH at times and he ignored it, whilst giving them free kicks for next to nowt.
TAA got spooked, but he does that, and if you can't predict it, you either pick him and hope or leave him out of the squad. He should have had support anyway for his first mistake.
Mane worked hard but his passing was ridiculously bad.
Firmino - the only thing that drives me mad about him is his refusal to play a simple pass when we really need it. That stupid back heel in the area when he had no idea if anyone was there was just such a waste.
One bright spot was Karius - I said this game would be his test and I thought his composure remained strong. I don't think he was to blame for the goals and that intervention late on was phenomenal.

It was great seeing Karius having the passion at the end. He wanted to go up for both corners but was denied by Klopp. So he did the next best thing, a full hearted tackle to save what must be a certain goal.
Great to see, wish more of our players had this passion and drive to want to win at all costs instead of letting their heads drop when things don't go our way.

I would prefer not to play them for myriad obvious reasons
Klopp's naivety v Maureen's game management = fair result. It's why Klopp gets beaten in all the finals. In fact I think off the top of my head we've only beaten City all season out of our rivals for the top four. I don't include Arse.
I see no reason not to execute Lovren. I'm not blaming him for the entire result. I'm blaming him for exisiting. Surely if we club together we can get him, Ming and Moreno in the same car? It's a good job Sevilla will beat them, but I would like to draw them in the quarters.
You and Modo seem to be happier tonight ... he's even trying to make some noise about Matip, and talking about how outclassed we were today by Mourinho (after what was done to the man he wishes to replace Klopp yesterday).
Lighten up, results like this happen. It's a poor result but we really should be ok.
I do agree that when it comes to tactics and game management, Klopp is less adaptable and more inclined to positive football than Shitcoat, but I don't think this result was much to do with Klopp really.
While you could argue about changes and adjustments in game that may have been lacking, you can't really blame Klopp for Lovren, TAA, Chamberlain and our attack al being so mediocre/ atrocious

He made a good point that yes, TAA made an error, but he also had no cover. Look at the goal. Louvren sauntering back, WAY out of position.
Yeah you can. He has proven time and again that in big games his players let him down. If it was once or twice then fair enough. But it isn't. 2 wins in 12 finals, and our results against the big sides this year are evidence that it's on him.

100 hours in haven't scratched surface yet. Love it, but it's slowly destroying my personal life and job. Been averaging about 4 hours sleep these past few days.

Previously we had a great record against the top four so I'm not sure what that has to do with finals.
