I don't know any of her music but when I saw Oncy on this thread and he said it was great I decided to read it during a quiet moment (tonight) and it is indeed vaultworthy.

All the more remarkable because I had not taken any interest in pop music for decades. Those black guys in the over-sized trousers did nothing for me. It was only when I chanced to switch on Glastonbury on my TV last year that I underwent a Pauline conversion ...... here was great, great hardcore pop music such I was fortunate enough to experience when I was in my teens. It was a revelation.
You must have heard some of Lady GaGa's music by now, Gene - it is blasting out of every shit-encrusted plasterer's radio. ;D

The writer, Caitlin Moran, missed her plane to Berlin and turned up late for the interview. As a result she ended up spending the night with GaGa in a Berlin sex club.
The article is full of fascinating insights about her, in my opinion mostly good ones.

I normally avoid Caitlin Moran, whose writing I find extremely irritating, but I'll give that a try.
Good article. Gaga comes out of it extremely well.
Reading that article I'm a bit worried whether her health can survive the crazy lifestyle that comes with being an international superstar and constantly touring - which, as she said, is the way to make money nowadays. She's probably booked up for years to come, so it's not easy to take a break.

FWIW, Gaga is actually ugly, seriously her face is a mess even when it is layered with make-up and hair, and I can't stand her gimmicky thing, if you're a talented artist, that should be enough. She infuriates me so much, I've never been able to sit through a video of hers, it's not clever, it's trashy. She's trashy, along with all the others that seem to think getting half naked is the only way to be a pop star.
That said, Portly is awesome on this thread, I loved reading your review of the show, and enjoyed hearing about your outfit to the show even more so!
