I Moustache You a Question

You know what - I think that Trent really isn't enjoying life at the moment, and his relationship with his teammates is at an all time low.

Call it a hunch, but his overall body language, eye-rolls, and general deportment suggests to me that his heart isn't here with us at the moment. For me, his lethargy is a result of a general disdain that he's feeling for his teammates. When others yell over to him for his mistakes, all I see is someone who has contempt for their remarks.

I don't think he also wants to play in the RB position any more - for me I believe he wants out.

It’s not right at all. There’s a malaise in the camp generally, but yeh, he doesn’t seem right at all.

He's been blasted by the media practically all season ... and when he makes a mistake (two, could-have-been-serious, today I think) you can see his head go down and even berate himself. I'm not sure it's poor camaraderie, more like self-abuse. You could see the frustration when he kicked that ball away and almost got himself booked.

I said this before, it suggests something else outside. Gerrard went through this and Rashford went through something similar for 2yrs, if we any decent backup then I would have given him a longer break. Often teenage super stars go through it, we just have to hope he comes throught it and give him the help he needs off the field.

So its been going on for a while

After this season I would not be against selling him, Virgil and Mo.

Only 3 that probably have a decent sell on value, if we're intent on building a team around Gakpo Jota Diaz and Nunez.

He has always been somewhat of a luxury player as far as being a right back goes, we’ve been very willing to live with any defensive frailty for the assists he provides. He looks like a right moany cunt right now but I’m not sure his play has actually changed that much, it feels more like the midfield that covered for him is now dog shit and Salah has lost a yard or two and can’t finish his breakfast.

I’d be pissed off too but it isn’t coming off very well at the moment, he should be starting to become a leader but maybe that’s not him.

We have 5 players leaving in Ox, Millie, Naby, Melo and Adrian. We might also lose Matip and Nats. So whet we need is competition and Trent needs that more than anyone else

What Trent needs more than anyone else is bench time, error after error this guy walking timebomb.

Scouse Pogba, heads gone.

He needs to be sat down for an extended period. Not a week or a game, but a couple of months. His attitude has been appalling for ages.

Trent and Mo are the two who look most mentally checked out. Neither has a real competitor or relief to take them out of the team. They know they will play every week, two maybe three games in a team that can't win anything. It's just a grind, there's no joy in it, they want the season to be over.

Didnt rurik post some stats couple of weeks ago that TAA is slowly getting back to his best in a attacking sense? Agree with @RedStar, he looks burned out. If we get our signings correct in the summer, he will be back to his best.

Unfortunately we've made a huge blunder with his training program... We though he needed to get stronger to be a better defender... But his mind doesn't use his strength advantageously enough to make it having been worth losing that bit of quickness. You can see from yesterday, no matter how strong... he isn't going to fight off and protect against an attacker so he was better off when he was slightly quicker. He gets burnt too easy now and he isn't able to nip in quickly to save his mistakes as easily.

Not to mention its devastating for his attacking play... He is less press resistant and a bit easier to control on certain runs.

I could be wrong... but I think its important he loses a bit of muscle.

This. I dont think he wants out or that he has any general distain for his teammates. But I think he and and several others have had enough of the bad body language from certain players. Trent isnt helping with how he handles himself but there were several moments in the game yesterday were Matip just turned his back to Trent when they were off sync. Matip passed the ball wrongly about 3-4 times and set up Trent in difficult positions. Turning your back on your team mate and the vibe given throughout the game wasnt good. Same with Keita who at this stage is just a passenger who awaits a move this summer. He shouldnt be involved at all.

It will be equally important this summer to get rid of the players that doesnt want to be here and the players that have shown this season that they cant handle the negative pressure.

Trent isnt one of them.

He's never been quick. Pretty slow.
And the little bit of upper body bulk he's gained should not affect his speed at all. He's got way smaller muscle mass than a typical sprinter, never mind the Traores, Maximins, Mos, and Darwins of the football world.

He’s acting like a cunt. Someone needs to give him a severe reality check or he should leave.

Hate seeing what he’s become.

His crossing and vertical passings on occasion is beyond anything any defender in the world can do, but his nonchalance when defending, as well as his careless passes in our own half really pisses me off. He can easily improve himself if he can put his mind to it. Still so much potential.

Let's just say Klopp get's £250m, half of that has gone on Bellers, now do you enough money to get the correct signings?
Our problem players
Salah's - we already have enough forwards to bench Salah. Despite his atrocious performance, he is still our number 1 striker.

Fabs - Fucking hell, he was the reason we had so much success and he is the reason why we look fucked this season. Utter shell of a player

Hendo - Age has not been his strength, his body isn't built to handle 38 games and more a season

Gomez - I rate Nat's much much more. Just isn't evolving. He is just another Lovren

Trent- what hasn't been already said? He has couple good games, everyone thinks he has turned, but the petulant attitude is still there. I wonder if he is really French and not Scouse?
If Klopp is going to play him at RB, change tactics so he gets more support

He needs a competent back up. We've got Millie and that's it, as Ramsay seems to be having a lot of issues.

Liverpool's Brazil midfielder Fabinho, 29, could be facing the exit after five years at Anfield as boss Jurgen Klopp looks to refresh his squad in the summer.

From the off yesterday he was getting frustrated with his team mates, too many misplaced passes into him. The whole thing of keeping him at right back is starting to become counter productive. We're poor in midfield, he has the quality to step up to a midfield role, yet it seems a blind spot for Klopp.

I guess he's also at the stage where he's shown his quality, and getting bollockings off the likes of Hendo and Milner doesn't wash any more, when both are way past being good enough to play for us regularly any more. I get that you need that experience and guidance in there, but Trent has the ability and experience now to have taken over from Henderson in midfield. Why it hasn't been done is both frustrating and worrying. If he does go somewhere else, I'd wager he'd be let off the leash in midfield, and we'll be kicking ourselves.

Imagine a partnership of Bellingham and Trent.

I wouldn't bat an eyelid if he went now. He's been a good servant to us and at his best was probably one of the best around, but it's painful watching him now. All he does is give away cynical fouls, because he can't get there in the first place.
