Transfer rumours

He'd be mad to join a team that isn't in a title challenge if he goes abroad. He'll get lots of playing time this year due to AFCON/Copa America + Studge leaving. He's a nailed on starter for both Charity Shield & Super Cup too.

As a striker, I value him more than Firmino.

You are nuts. Bobby is a better strike than Origi
The problem i have always had with Bobby...for all the other great things he does in terms of linking up Salah/Mane and pressing etc... I NEVER expect him to score. I have never had that thought about any player that has played in a striking role for LFC. I think its just me, but Origi, has pace, power, and a good shot on him, if we went to market I think to get a striker with all that you looking at minimum 40M+. He also has age on his side.

Bobby is an £80m-£100m player who was hampered by injuries last season even then scored 16 goals and had 8 assists in all competitions. Origi is not the same class.

Spurs have contacted FC Copenhagen with the intention to strike a deal with 21-year-old winger and set-piece expert Robert Skov, 23. Skov broke the record for most goals scored in a season in Denmark this term (29).

He's going to be valued in the £15M region is my best guess.

Could be a great signing on the (somewhat) cheap, but there's still Q's over whether he'd be capable of stepping up his game and physique to match the best.

The main issue with him has always been that his form came and went like a purple patch. Origi has more than proved his worth as a squad option

We're about as active as any other club. Very incoming signings anywhere with most clubs getting rid of dead wood

I think our transfer department is now such a tightly run ship that it renders any media speculation about our recruitment targets essentially meaningless. I genuinely have no idea if ANY of the players mentioned as our targets are actually targets at all; all LFC-related media reporting seems to be mostly driven by the players' agents and therefore doesn't reveal anything about our true priorities. This is why I'm not doing my usual summer transfer thread this year; there is just no point.

One day, when Klopp is done with LFC, I think he can use his impressive record in creating a watertight leak-proof apparatus to apply to be the head of the CIA or something.

I wish I had a leak-proof apparatus.

You are nuts. Bobby is a better strike than Origi

Bobby's overall game is far superior to Origi, his passing and vision specifically. But as an out and out striker which you would bring on to score a crucial goal or someone who is at the tip of an attack that you would expect to score a goal - I honestly would never have faith in Bobby filling that role. I know I should do given the amount of goals he scored last season, but because his primary role has been to link the attack with Mane/Salah and our midfield work-horses I am always pleasantly surprised when he scores rather than expecting him to score.

blue - this can only mean one thing..all the main contenders are looking at the same players to recruit, and those players are deciding.

Palace are after the Mong for 8mill, which means we'd need another keeper if he goes.

Chelsea been given permission by Derby to speak to Lampard.

Why the fuck aren't we after Tielemans?
Seriously? Young, super talented midfielder, can probably get him cheap from Monaco. OK we do have a few midfielders in the squad but I wouldn't pass up this chance.

Lets get near to final product for our midfield rather than young becoming good. We need a fairly established creative type, and I think that will be enough. Like you said we have enough mids anyway.

Apparently there's a good chance we won't sign anyone. We will if someone leaves. And there's that Dutch kid that should be done this week.

We don't know who LFC are after if anyone. Give it time, the press will link him to us

Saw some report somewhere about a 16yo from Dungannon we’re apparently signing.

Wasn’t very exciting.

I like him – but why would Monaco sell him on the cheap? They were asking £90M for Lemar two seasons ago.
