That's close to £80m if we get rid of all at anywhere close to our valuations. I still expect to see us bring in at least 2 players, one in the 30-40m range and one or maybe two in the 15-25m range.

We had a pre-tax loss of £46m last year, and that'll likely be a bit higher this year. I'd actually say that isn't bad, all things considered, so I have to wonder what margins we're operating at if £100-120M loss in a couple of years can derail us so significantly? It seems like since project superbadidea fizzled out FSG are just looking to asset build for the eventual £multi-billion sale.

How often has this sale idea been touted over the past 3-4 season? Considering the state of the world at present there won't be any sale (esp. at our valuation whereby the number of potential buyers is extremely low) in the near future (meaning years). Selling 'shares' for investment, yes, outright sale, no.

I heard on a recent podcast that we already have one more foreign player than we are allowed, under PL rules, so have to move two on if we want to buy another (like Neuhaus or Saul).

Yeah we do have one more foreigner than we’re allowed - if we include Gruijic & Iwonyi, I think.

Kabak was different, though, because I think he would still have been considered a youth player for another season with no need to register.
