Rumour season is here again...

Thought this one really funny. Did not read in full as it is an article by the scum

Arsenal are considering a move for Liverpool and England midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The 28-year-old spent six years with the Gunners before moving to Anfield in 2017

In truth I am more intrested in seeing who Newcastle manage to sign now that the can slasp large amounts of cash.
We; Liverpool will buy who we buy and not spend that much on transfers and hail it as either a shrewd; or tidy bit of business while purchasing no one of real note

This transfer rumour reminds me of Jack And The Beanstalk story
[article]Juventus will use Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey, 30, as a makeweight in their attempt to bring Manchester United and France star Paul Pogba, 28, back to Turin. (Mail)[/article]

Doesn’t matter who comes in - this lad is going to Dortmund if he has any sense whatsoever.

Fabinho on Raphinha:
"There was a discussion about him going to Liverpool, but in the end he stayed at Leeds. Since he arrived in the Premier League he has had very good performances and highlights. For Liverpool, I was hoping that would happen. But in the end, he stayed with Leeds. He’s Leeds‘ best player today. Whenever we play against them, we know he’s the player who can cause the most danger. He is a left-footed player who goes up, comes in, as well as on the outside. He’s a guy with a lot of personality and he’s already shown that he can help us a lot.”

Deco is Fabinho's agent as well.
Yup, I think they're all under the Gestifute umbrella, which is Jorge Mendes' agency. Jota is also represented by them. Clearly, we have a decent working relationship with them given how quickly (and under the wraps) we concluded those two deals.

They have some very interesting players in their portfolio that I'm sure we're monitoring. Raphinha is one, and Rafael Leao at Milan is another. Pedro Neto at Wolves is also with them.

I don’t know much about this kid, but maybe we should all learn this name. He’s giving Mo a run for his money.

Thats where Rafinha came from right ?, lets put in a 20M bid in for him now.
LOL... £20m from a 30s clip.
You are right in that we need to be more bold and sign youngsters who will cost between £10m - £40m instead of the £10m under.
There is plenty of young talent out there, it's about finding them

I had it on great authority that we were heavily interested in Raphinha, hoping that comes through in the next two windows, but his price is rising each time!

With Raphinha, the concern is that he exclusively plays on the right-wing. His entire game is predicated on cutting in and using that left foot of his. I haven't seen any evidence of him being comfortable on the other wing, or being capable of playing centrally. That is a concern given the competition we'd have once we get another attacker in. I think they might prioritize getting someone who's more versatile like Jota.
