And where are people's individual moral codes? A sense of personal morality that drives choices people make. Further I find it so so sad how quick people are to completely disregard our 'civilised' principals. These are people, young people, yes, what they are doing is outrageous, but the dehumanisation and inhumane ways people seem to think we should respond are disgusting to me. If we're a civilised society, we should remain that way, always.

Act like an animal and get treated like one. If they are rioting for a specific cause then fair does. This nothing like that. As one copper put it - it's nothing more than "aggressive late night shopping". They're scum. Their parents are likely scum and their kids likely will be too. It's the softly softly approach that people take to such a "disenfranchised" generation that allows them to believe they can get away with whatever the fuck they like. They terrorise communities and ruin decent peoples lives and then when decent hard working people react people call them uncivilised? Fucking bollocks. These little scum and their families have been afforded the help and opportunities generations before them never had yet increasingly act worse and worse. When do you draw the line ? What does it take - because I really want to know. There is no perfect society. There will always be degrees of relative poverty but the do gooders around that pander to some of these despicable little cunts who use what they call poverty, when they're riding around in their designer gear tweeting on their iphone, as an excuse to behave like fucking scumbags need to wake the fuck up. These little cunts are laughing their cocks off at all these social well doers. They'll sit and listen to your face and then go out and cause chaos. Oh the message will get through to one or two I'll give you that but it's as simple as this for me: They're just not allowed to be disciplined any more. Without basic discipline they never understand right and wrong and, more importantly consequence. And I'm not talking about corporal punishment, I'm talking about the basic principles of right and wrong and outcomes of doing wrong. They know what's wrong and right alright and they also know there are no meaningful consequences any more. I pity them in many ways I do as a lot of them are the outcome of poor upbringing. Poverty again is not an excuse for that. Who I pity more though is the normal decent working families, and many of those could be classed as living in poverty, who are doing there hardest in a challenging world to better themselves and make contributions as normal functioning human beings whose lives are being made an abject misery by these cunts.
Carry on with socially responsible stuff by all means I'm sure it has limited value but there comes a time when you have to speak their own language and if that means bringing a bit of their own medicine into their lives i.e. violence then so be it. All other options exhausted crack a few skulls.

I understand your anger Sunny, and over the last few days have had moments when I've thought the same, but ultimately it's just not what I think the way forward is. I just don't see the way of dealing with violence, unreasonable behaviour as being violence and unreasonable behaviour. Like I said before, it comes down to personal moral codes, just because someone else has lost their mind and all sense if human decency, doesn't mean I need to too.

I agree with that in principle, but IMO in practice the short-term problem has to be stopped - and sharpish - first.
