Torres gone. Scum gone to more scum

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Player talking to the media is definately Carra but its hard to deny the truth.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Frank's mum said she can't wait for Fernando to dedicate a goal to her

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

The one thing I've learnt from this whole episode is that I'll never ever again get some foreign players name on my lad's shirts. I'll be sticking with the local lads who you know do actually have some respect for the club. Looks like he'll have to make do with Kelly for the next couple of years.

My mum said, "Fernandes who?"

my mum said she thinks torres is past his best and is too injury-prone and sulky-looking to bother about, and thinks we should take the money.

I reckon it's carra. Bascombe is closest to him so he'd be the obv suspect. As such he'd throw in a mention. Also that namedrop is very forced, it's needless.

My mum said "It's only a game son". So I put the phone down on her.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

My mum said she was listening to the Archers so unless it was very important could i ring back tomorrow.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

My mum said "are you *still* playing/watching/interested in football? grow up"

and then she slapped me your honour, like I was one of the three stooges

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

This Thread is going to over take the Suarez thread pretty soon..

I thought that was your son?

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I told my 6 yr old the news that Torres wants to leave today

He cried his eyes out and said how can I wear my shirt now. How can he wear blue. I was gutted for him but also angry that nando could do this at this time when we are all enjoying an improved team under kenny.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Abramovich might not come back with the £50m... Fernando in limbo??

if only. i'd like a brother who's into football. it's the women in my family who follow liverpool (yes, and me, ha ha).

my dad still can't get his head around the concept of there being the FA cup and the league cup. 'how do you know which is which?' etc.

He should be good at that. He's now proved how low he can go.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Ten things Fernando Torres has to look forward to by joining Chelsea, and we're not sure he's properly thought this through:

1. Introducing the missus to John Terry

2. Getting some friendly texts from Ashley Cole

3. Playing on the right-wing when 4-4-2 with Drogba doesn't work

4. Watching Only Fools and Horses with 'Lamps' and the lads

5. Getting 'Blue is the colour' tattooed on his arm

6. Getting booed after a home draw

7. Getting booed after a 1-0 home win

8. Reacquainting himself with Yossi Benayoun on the Stamford Bridge treatment table

9. Free trips on Roman's yacht

10. At long last, a stable environment, no wacky owners, and a long-term manager firmly in place. Oh, hang on...

Still fancy it...?

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I'd like to know what our plans are regarding the Torres transfer.

a) we must surley have set a deadline tomorrow, that after 12 pm even a 80 mill £ bid will be rejected cause we can't get a replacement in time

b) have we sounded out a replacement? We can't for the love of God NOT sign another striker if he leaves.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Oh, and ballbag claimed Real were looking at a Adebayor deal this summer and not Llorente.

So if we have sounded out Llorente and gotten a positive response from his agent, I'd be more than pleased if we managed to get him.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

My mum said maybe you shouldn't have brought the new one as I think he doesnt like the new one and that's why he wants to leave. But even if he does go at least you've still got the new one.

My mum did actually genuinely say that
