Hurts like fuck mate, especially the timing of it.
The timing is the thing I can't get my head around.
Could he/they/whatever have planned it to look any worse?
It really is a pricks move.

He's been tapped up by Chelsea - that much is obvious - because all this is far too orchestrated. He's been badly advised and he's fell for it all hook line and sinker. Kerching eh Fernando ? And I'll tell you something else - the lad is behaving like a complete TWAT as well - something I'm not prepared to discuss just yet.
Even an insight into this would be much appreciated Sunny. Between this an mark mcs corruption post, something smells horrible. Or are they only rumours you need to confirm before divulging?

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Was the written request by him handed in before the suarez deal or after? If before then it's his agent trying to push the suarez deal faster as he is the agent for both the players.

After. And they dont have the same agents

Surley we can fuck them over for tapping him up;

It was five days ago that Chelsea’s representatives are believed to have met Torres’s advisers, Bahía Internacional, and were told that the Liverpool striker was again keen to move to Stamford Bridge and would help to try and push for a deal.
You don't think we did the same with Suarez and Adam? It's widespread now.

A year ago, I'd have felt devastated by this, but all I've got now is cold hatred and a pragmatic desire to sell him for the highest possible fee and reinvest that money before the end of the window. Not a panic buy, but he needs to be replaced.

Yep it goes on everywhere. BUT Chelsea are on a final warning as regards tapping up. It would be fucking hilarious if we sold him for £60m to Chelsea, reported them, they got a 2 year transfer embargo and Nando squalors in an ageing team on their way downwards. Would laugh my head off.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I reckon he had got pissy cos Suarez coming in and they wont give him a payrise or something?

What the fuck has he got to be a twat for? He has shown zero respect for our club.... Still cant get my head round it.

Nothing to do with corruption mate. Let's just say he's been highly dispectful to Kenny by refusing to even have a conversation with him at the moment.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Personally he can go fuck himself and hopefully rot in the Chav's team.

The thing that is pissing me of most is he has made my 4 yr old boy cry - not on.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I just wonder if he was expecting some kind of massive spending spree a la Man City as a signal of intent, and when that has failed to materialise he is questioning our ambition to challenge.

Thats the only 'logical' explanation I can think of, considering his seemingly uplifted mood since Kenny came in.

Then he needs to get real. There's only one club that can spend like Man City. That's Man City. Even Chelsea can't compete with them

i can kind of understand why he would be angry.. considering the things that were promised and never happend..

but if its true and he isnt talking to Kenny - Then he is a little pissweak weasel

Gutted, that's not on, fuck him! The club will march on regardless! And be better for it. I hope the owners pay hard ball on this the whole way to the end!!!!

Yeah, read that before too, but The Times' Tony Barrett's response to a tweet apparently showed it was inaccurate.

"No. Torres and Suarez do not share an agent. Torres is with Baiha, Suarez with Pere Guardiola"

how come Patrick Barclay knew this was going to happen if Suarez signed ?
I don't think the two are linked, Barclay was only guessing.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

It's so frustrating we are playing well, signed a class strike partner. Kenny is loving it all looking good and fucking nando puts in a transfer request. If this is true he can fuck off let's sign someone else quickly and ask the chavs for sturidge and £50 million. Let nando sulk with drogba and get more injuries.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

He'll be being led by his agent here who has probably told him not to speak to Kenny, which advice is most likely being driven by Chelsea.

Everyone knows that Kenny's influence could make a big difference.

There has been suggestion that Torres fell out with some of the team and he has obviously been unhappy for a long time now. The annoying thing is that he seems to be happier now and has returned to form.

If this bid had come in at the start of the window when he was a sulky shite, I think there would have been a different reaction by the fans

Boys, Girls and grown men are crying all around the world.

Its hard enough for me to not smash holes in the walls.. id hate to try and explain all this to a little-un.

i remember back to the 1990 world cup - Im Welsh so im not the biggest England fan.. however i was young and got caught up in the moment and actually supported that England Team - When Germany ended up winning i was distraught. Crying my eyes out wondering why the world was so fucked up..

Todays events - 10 times worse!

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

To be honest after the couple of seasons we've had I can't blame Torres wanting out but the way he is going about it is a shock to say the least.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

For all those saying 'let him rot' and 'don't sell him', do you really mean that? Putting your (completely) justifiable anger at the twat aside, do you really think that's the best thing for the club?

Now he's gone and handed in a request and is acting the cunt, would it serve the club well to have him sulk his way through the next few months on/off the pitch, just when things are really looking positive for the club? It would be detrimental to our team performances, morale, fan support and create division and conflict where Kenny had began to heal previous ones.

We have to move on, screw Chelsea for as much as is possible and spend the money well. 50-60m could go a fair way to improving this side, especially given we've already signed Suarez. Another 20m striker, a 20m winger + whatever else and we might just be looking back on this in a few months and thinking everything worked out for the best.

Oh, and Torres has let himself and the club down in a way I'd not have imagined. We're better off without him.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

We thought you were a proper Red, Torres, Torres
You've played your cards and made your bed, Torres, Torres
So be a little bitch and moan
And now you'll always walk alone
Fernando Torres - all he does is whine

How is selling Keegan to Hamburg remotely the same as selling Torres to fucking Chelsea?
It isn't.

He was our best player and wanted to leave; but he didnt drop us in the shit like this.

I hbad to switch my phone off because I kept getting texts from malaysia; loads of emails too..

The first few are all ecstatic because of Suarez; the latter well..not so happy.

Fuck Torres.

And I hope he as a good laser tatto removal artist

Agree totally.

It's gone too far now - I think he has to leave in the next two days. I just hope Commoli's already identified his replacement and is busy making it happen as we speak.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Reina will be next.

All mercenaries, the fucking lot of them.

And if he turns round and signs a new contract, a la Rooney, don't expect the same level of headless chicken devotion that that bellend gets from the Mancs. He's still be a grade-A shitbox.
Reina?

No chance.

We've been unlucky; but I firmly believe he'll never do this to us.
