I think we're a bit overstocked with central attacking midfielders - Gerrard, Merireles, Shelvey, Suso...

I just don't think Suso or Shelvey are ready or of the quality required (yet) for a team wanting to challenge for titles. Certainly not of the quality of Stevie or Ming should either get injured.

I guess it depends how much we could sell Aquilani for. If someone was willing to stump up the 13m we were asking from Juve, I just think the money would be better spent elsewhere. If it's a question of selling for 5m or hanging on to him, I'd probably hang on to him. I doubt if he'd get many games though.
