speak for yourself - its no coincidence that it has come to this after rafa only managing one win in eight along with my traditional position towards our manager
and i'm big enough, thick skinned enough and have enough of a sense of realism not to have anyone on ignore.
the mods have done what they have to try to ensure everyone is treated equally - i'm fine by that as are many other people on here.
there's also a desire to cut out the personal insults - again i'm fine by that as the personal insults more often than not that involved me were instigated by others - not always i acknowledge but the vast majority of times they were.

So please take these comments in the spirit they're intended. Speaking as an impartial 'critical friend', if there's anything wrong with this site it can all be found in this thread. Some of the contributors, and I include some but not all of the mods / owners risk taking themselves and the site a tad too seriously as do some of you lesser mortals.
This is an interweb forum frequented in the main by lads (with a small number of lasses) who share a single common interest in LFC. And that's it.
This is why I was never interested in attending any of the meet-ups. I've got my 'real life' mates and that's brilliant. I think when you try to squeeze more out of it than is actually there, you end up with a situation like this.
I have genuinely loved this site, never more so than just before I was invited to become a mod (only the second non-founder, after Oncy, to receive such an invitation). On my first day 'in the job', I poked around management chat and found the discussion on who should be invited to join the board. I recall Ryan's comment that it should be me because I was on all day. And I was and I got on great with many of the members and subsequently my co-owners.
Nobody gets bullied on this site. I can understand the concept of cyber-bullying when the victim is a teenage girl but how in the name of all that is holy a grown man can consider himself or be considered by others to be bullied by no more than a user name, avatar and signature is simply beyond me. Grow the fuck up.
And just to clarify, I didn't leave this site because of the presence or actions of 1 person, 10 people or 100. I left because my interest declined to almost the point of non-existence.
The knowledge, intelligence and humour on this site varies massively from member to member. At one end of the scale, I really don't believe any other site of its kind could boast better. Not everyone fits into that end of the scale and that's life.
But for any potential new member having a look at this thread this weekend, they'd read it and decide they were better off elsewhere because this is frankly ridiculous.
