I know a lot of posters on here wants to see the back of Agger and to some extent Johnson too.

In my book however having to watch my beloved club sell those kind of players would, figuratively speaking, resemble the pulling of hairs out of you nostrels - in slowmotion.
You mean the same Daniel Agger who has played less games in the past 5 years than Ledley King, Aaron Lennon, Harry Kewell, Robbie Keane, Alberto Aquilani etc.
Get the picture? He's as good as he is worth on the treatment table. Fuck all.
I love Agger but we need a CB of his ability we can rely on. He is not it.
If we get a half decent offer we would be mad not to take it.
Asbo's already exposed your rather flawed post mate and to add some further cracks I could remind you that Agger's still enjoyed more games at Liverpool than say his partner Skrtel.

Look I'm not going into the injury debate again as it's fekkin bleeding obvious he's been too injured but still there's defenders at this club I'd get rid of sooner than him anyways. There's always hope he's going to stay fit and when he is, he makes us look a better team.

didn't we get agger a year earlier?

a fine footballer is daniel but his injury issues will never be put to bed and he's gonna be a drain on resources. Sad as it is to say.

Agger. Good player. Never fit. Makes Darren Anderton look indestructible. We need a player of his obvious playing quality only one that actually plays. He's a crock.

In other news. Torres pulled out right in front of me today coming out of Melwood and I had to slam on. Nice enough to apologise though. If it was Hodgson I'd have put me foot down.
Exposed what? The players i named have played more games in the past 5 years than Agger. Some of the most reknown injury prone or dropped players in the last few seasons. I dont know that Asbo was even trying to counter my point.
I love Agger you KNOW that. Im still happy to sell him because hes NEVER fit cor more than 2 or 3 games in a row. I dont think we should keep Aurelio either.
But at Cb you need stability. Agger doesnt offer that.
Im not denying hes better than the other lads, he is imo but hes a fucking crock.

Liverpool are monitoring teenage Southampton winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The Reds' director of football strategy Damien Comolli was in the stands at St Mary's on Tuesday afternoon to watch the son of former England international Mark Chamberlain find the net in a 4-1 win over Huddersfield in npower League One.

But Saints boss Nigel Adkins insists he will not welcome any bids for the highly-rated 17-year-old when the January transfer window opens.

"I didn't know he (Comolli) was here," said Adkins.

"But we will not start talking about all our players having a price, or putting a price on players' heads, we want to keep this squad together.

"We are not looking to let Alex go."
Watched him again on Monday.

LIVERPOOL could be poised to table a bid for Saints starlet Alex Chamberlain.

Liverpool’s director of football strategy Damien Comolli was at Dagenham & Redbridge yesterday to watch the jet-heeled 17-year-old in action.

That follows hot on the heels of a visit to St Mary’s last Tuesday from Anfield football consultant Kenny Dalglish.

Any sassy rumours today then?

*I've seen a few from caughtoffside and puntershero (?) linking Wenger with a £10M bid for Agger but those sites are well dodgy.

I thought Wenger said he wouldn't be buying anyone. Vermaelen is back in Jan too isn't he?

I doubt we would sell to Arsenal but then again Alonso was offered to them.

To be honest we're closer to the likes of Wigan, West Ham, Fulham and WBA when it comes to points-difference than say Sunderland and Bolton.

I know I just couldn't be arsed it was on cut and paste before, when someone was saying we have a weak Squad, I said weaker than that shower of Shite above us? we have a weak manager is the problem.
