Adil Rami apperantly on his way to Valencia for 6 mill euros. Great signing for a very good price. Valencia seem to do a lot of good signings these days.
Decent signing for Valencia.

Lille's France defender Adil Rami has signed for Primera Liga side Valencia, the Spanish club announced today.

The 25-year-old will be loaned back to Lille until the end of the season and will join Valencia in July.

Rami has signed a contract until 30 June, 2015, according to the club, but they gave no information on the transfer fee.

Lille had an an offer of €11 million from Marseille for Rami, but the player prefered to join Valencia, currently fourth in Spain's top division.

There is quite a few reports that Bayern are trying to get Leighton Baines.
I'd have him, he is having a good season (he has got me loads of points in my fantasy team anyway 😉 ) although the blueshite would not sell him to us.
Could it mean someone is on their way at Bayren though?

regards

Seems like the interest was concrete.

Rummenigge is convinced that Gustavo will strengthen his side "We only sign players who guarantee us improvement," he told the Bild newspaper. "Gustavo can help us out immediately either at left full-back or at centre-back. He can also play in the centre of the midfield. The lad has character and he was the player Louis van Gaal really wanted."

He should also be the first and last new signing this winter, meaning Bayern's interest in Everton full-back Leighton Baines has also ended. "Seriously, we are not going to sign any more players in January," added Rummenigge. "We cannot force him (Baines) to join us. He would rather live in Liverpool than Munich, and that's that."

Dzeko will sign for City tomorrow, fee 27 mill £
God, I hate them.
Arsed. They've already got good strikers at the club and they are still hit and miss.

What about Pastore? How is he coming along?

Definitely at Palermo till the end of the season.

Though latest rumour, and confirmed by Pastore, is that Chelsea have made contact about a deal.

Both Wolfsburg and Leverkusen has now confirmed that they've been offered/chasing Agger. Juve and Inter linked today.

Sami has talked highly about Agger to Heynckes apparently and Leverkusen wants him but find he's to expensive because of his records with injuries. A few days ago Wolfsburgs DOF Dieter Hoeness claimed they were offered Agger as well despite Roy claiming he's not up for sale.

Someone is certainly trying to offload in my opinion our best central defender apart from Carra. I do not like it one bit.

Hodgson and Comolli were at the Wigan-Newcastle game yesterday...
You reckon we're looking to offload Agger to finance a deal for either Dann or Taylor then?

We're becoming more like Fulham by the day aren't we?

Well looks like Juve are planning to use the "excellent relationship" they have with Liverpool to get a discount on Alberto Aquilani's agreed price for a loan deal, and they want to look at the possibility of buying Daniel Agger and Glen Johnson also.

Agger gave Liverpool
Juventus is in pole

The excellent relations with the Reds puts the Juventus in the front row for the Danish defender

TURIN, Jan. 3 - It 'Sunday, the headquarters in Corso Galileo Ferraris is empty. Beppe Marotta, however, has already forgotten remnant of his vacation, spent between Genoa and Varese: he worked at the Juventus Center in Vinovo, juggles a dozen phone calls, searches and training is in the locker room, in the meantime cut a briefing with the ds Fabio Guild. The ad, for once without a tie, he spends the whole day next to the team but is in constant contact with the market men and Juventus with his personal staff around the world, ready to seize an opportunity, a sudden affair, and color as a winter market in plaster from the otherwise tight budget.

England-The "straight" most interesting comes from England, just from Liverpool: Reds refer to sources close to the fact that the placing of Daniel Agger, 26, is not a trivial gossip raised by the Daily Mirror. Despite public assurances by Roy Hodgson, the Danish defender is really going to change mesh accomplices misunderstandings with the same coach, and is not random, sporting director Damien Comolli that already is thinking alsostituto: viewfinder Per Mertesacker (26), Central Werder Bremen and the German national team.

TEMPTATION-Marotta with leaders Liverpool we often hear: "dance" the redemption of Alberto Aquilani (26) - will be exercised to secure, as also confirmed yesterday the agent Franco Zavaglia, but working on a discount compared to 16 million set at the time of the loan - it flashed a possible transfer of Amauri (30) before the accident, hath been discussed like two defenders to Del Blacks: Agger, precisely, and Glen Johnson (26), right-back following an alternative to Andreas Beck (23) dell'Hoffenheim. Polls, as Juventus, stranded on excessive valuations, but ready to evolve in talks if conditions are created for: the impending divorce of Agger is an important foothold for Juve, renewing the application for the loan (replicating, in essence, ' Aquilani operation) or prepared, at least, contained an offer that Liverpool, in the light of changed circumstances, could be considered differently.

We really shouldn't be selling anyone in January.
We can't keep playing this carousel of shite game.

We need to add to our week, small squad before replacing. Else we'll be in the same position in 2 months time.

I know a lot of posters on here wants to see the back of Agger and to some extent Johnson too.

In my book however having to watch my beloved club sell those kind of players would, figuratively speaking, resemble the pulling of hairs out of you nostrels - in slowmotion.

Ever since Agger mouthed Roys tactics off it's been clear that he's no longer wanted. I can't say I don't understand the manager, he need his players to follow suit, but in this case I'd love to see the back of the manager long before a player of Agger's caliber just because he doesn't like to hoof as much as beeing told to.

Krump I guess it was posted a view of Reina's distribution against Wolves this Christmas and one from last Season and the signs were evident. Far to many long, aimless balls kicked into oblivion and the result thereof was abysmal. There's only one to blame for this. And his name is not Glenn nor Daniel.

I hope we hold out over Aquilani. He's been doing so well for them that I'm pretty sure they'd cough up if we stand our ground on the fee.

I'm shocked you have an opinion at the thought of us selling Agger.

Once City have signed Dzeko, we should deffo sign Adebayor on loan for 6 months. As shite as we have been, City will gladly send him to us.
You mean the same Daniel Agger who has played less games in the past 5 years than Ledley King, Aaron Lennon, Harry Kewell, Robbie Keane, Alberto Aquilani etc.
Get the picture? He's as good as he is worth on the treatment table. Fuck all.
I love Agger but we need a CB of his ability we can rely on. He is not it.
If we get a half decent offer we would be mad not to take it.

Wouldn't Big Sam be the appropriate choice to bring the best out of him? So much so for their 'difference in plans'.

Last Season:
Daniel Agger 23 1 0 4 8 36
Glen Johnson 25 0 1 3 6 35
Fernando Torres 22 2 0 4 4 32
Martin Skrtel 19 2 2 4 2 29
Alberto Aquilani 18 2 1 2 3 26
Fábio Aurélio 14 1 1 5 2 23
Sotirios Kyrgiakos 14 0 2 1 4 21
Maxi Rodriguez 17 0 0 0 0 17
Albert Riera 12 0 1 1 2 16

Notice almost all our defence played under 1/2 the games, wonder if thats why we missed 4th by 4 points? Probably more to do with Torres though.

08-09:
Daniel Agger 18 1 2 5 26

07-08
Daniel Agger 5 0 0 1 6

06-07
Daniel Agger 27 1 2 12 1 43
